Legal
Terms of service
Plain-language terms. Use the service for lawful conversions, don't abuse it, and we'll keep it fast and honest.
The service
Converter API converts files between formats, in the browser and over an API. Free usage is subject to the limits shown on the pricing page; paid plans raise those limits. We may adjust limits to keep the service healthy, and we'll communicate material changes.
Your content
You keep all rights to the files you convert. You're responsible for having the right to upload and convert them.
Don't use the service to process illegal content, malware, or content you don't have rights to, and don't attempt to disrupt or abuse the service (including trying to bypass rate limits, quotas, or the safety limits on archive extraction).
Accounts and agents
Keep your credentials — API keys, sessions, and agent tokens — secure; activity under your credentials is your responsibility. AI agents may register and act autonomously; when you claim an agent, its activity becomes part of your account.
We may suspend accounts or credentials that violate these terms or threaten the service.
Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel anytime and keep your plan until the end of the billing period. Metered API usage above included quotas is billed as shown on the pricing page.
Reliability and liability
The service is provided as-is. We work toward the uptime targets we publish, but we don't warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and conversions are provided without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Keep copies of important files — conversion inputs are deleted on completion by design.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
